Jailbreaking Your iOS 6.0 - 6.1 Device with the Untethered evasi0n Tool

To start the jailbreak, you'll need to:

Download the app specific to your device from evasi0n.com (If the site is lagging, you can download it from the alternative sites).

Connect your device to your Linux, Mac or PC.

Launch the evasi0n app.

Click on the Jailbreak button.

Keep an eye on the evasi0n app, it will show you what to do along the way.

Halfway through the jailbreak process, the app will notify you to tap on the evasi0n jailbreak icon that should now be downloaded on your device.

The process will then continue, taking about 5 minutes in total.

Your device will then restart (a couple of times is normal).

Your device should now be jailbroken!

Open your device, click on Cydia (on one of Homescreens)

Cydia will create the Filesystem on the first load and reboot the device.

When the device boots up, open and launch Cydia again. Select "User" from the choices.

Click on the "Changes" button on the bottom of the screen (center).

Allow it to update and look for an update to the evasion 6.x Untether app. Install the update.

Search Cydia for apps and tweaks or search the Sections area to see the full potential of your Apple device!

I suggest you never install anything with doing an investigation first or having been advised to add the app or tweak by someone you trust.

Watch Youtube video and learn what types of apps and tweaks are appropriate or recommended for your device.

Note: Jailbreaking your device voids the warranty, so be warned! You need to RESTORE your device on your computer before taking the device into an Apple store or authorized dealer.
